about

This one is one of the last tracks I wrote. Indeed with the purpose to create a ballad for the album. Cause every album needs a ballad and cheesy song, which would be a typical single..

At first I was sceptical how to do it, cause I never wrote a ballad before. So I wrote a Text and this is the only song on the album where I'm singing myself. But for some reason, the writing process felt right. And even if I have to admit that the lyrics are a little bit sloppy: I felt it. Cause the feeling especially at the end was very real. I'm not the best singer, but I put my heart into the vocals...and I think one can hear this....

lyrics

Yesterday

In this city here, I was lost and alone.
Out of myself and frightened to the bones.
But now, with my fellowship I can grow.
And find myself!

It is not always easy but:

Yesterday,
everything seemed to fallin' apart.
Now there is silence, and nothing is hard.
I'm okay, this feels right. (2x)

Interlude

Yesterday,
everything seemed to fallin' apart.
Now there is silence, and nothing is hard.
I'm okay, this feels right. (2x)

It is not alway easy but….
It is not always easy,
easy, it is not always easy
